Interagency Readiness Solutions (IRS) is seeking a COP Manager to join our team at the National Guard Bureau in Washington, DC.

· Manages a Common Operational Picture (COP) focused on domestic operations

for the NGCC, NGB J3/7, Chief National Guard Bureau (CNGB)

· Serves in the National Guard Coordination Center (NGCC) as the primary

advisor to the Chief, Crisis Operations Branch and the Chief, Current

Operations Division (J33) on matters regarding operations information

collection, analysis and presentation in a 24/7 shift work day operation

center

· Collects/Analyzes/Summarizes multiple simultaneous data streams from a

wide variety of agencies/open source/states/units/private sector entities

into a seamless Common Operating Picture (COP) while discriminating between

critical and routine information

· Maintains visibility of domestic response capabilities available to be

called on by Federal, State and local authorities to provide needed support

as requested throughout natural or man-made incidents

· Collects, tracks, and communicates National Guard domestic involvement

in special events for homeland security, civil support, emergency and

current operations

· Maintains comprehensive database(s) and other shared sources to provide

information used in making operational support decisions and in preparing

reports

· Responsible for writing Executive Summaries and Situation Reports to

summarize complex Domestic Crisis incidents as well as preparing, attending,

and briefing Presentations to O6+ level leadership

· Controls the global urgent and critical information traffic for Joint

Operations of the Air and Army National Guard through the NGCC Message

Center desk

· Tracks and collects information regarding the common informational picture from various COP sources, including the NGCC Team Chief, the NGCC Operations Team, Joint Information Exchange Environment (JIEE), Defense Connect Online (DCO), Situational Awareness Geospatial Enterprise (SAGE), Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), Guard Knowledge Online (GKO), other Federal and State interagency websites and reports, NGB shared drives, NGCC email and data archives

· Monitors various JIEE and Excel databases, recent and archived reports, and Joint Force Headquarters-States (JFHQ-S), Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and Combatant Command websites and reports for updates to the status of worldwide training and operational deployments of NG personnel

· Provides the updated information to the NGCC Team Chief for review and approval to update COP and associated tracking systems and recurring briefings to CNGB and CJCS (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) as necessary to provide SSA to customers

· Prepares draft daily, weekly, monthly and annual status reports on support to Combatant Commands, DOMOPS and Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions
